Traditions that Matter is a body of work that began its development with a collection of objects and images a year and half ago. It came into fruition after the International meeting ‘Migrant subject / Object‘, that took place at the Royal Museum for Central Africa, Tervuren on the 13 and 14 October 2011.

This body of work is a reflection on culture, norms, value systems and questions their links to obsession. The body of work specifically focuses on the subtleties in presentation or representation of what is deemed the “other”.
